At DTDC Australia, we strive to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of your shipments. However, we regret to inform you that we are currently facing significant challenges in retrieving shipments from airlines such as Vietjet and Malindo, which may result in unavoidable delays.
Here are the specific issues we are encountering:
- Prolonged Retrieval Times: Despite the shipments landing in Australia, the ground staff of these airlines are taking an unusually long time to hand over the goods to us.
- Insufficient Ground Staff: On occasions when we are asked to collect the shipments, we are often unable to do so because the airlines lack the necessary staff to facilitate the handover.
- Shortage of Forklift Drivers: Even when our trucks are dispatched to pick up the shipments, the airlines frequently report a shortage of forklift drivers, preventing the handover and causing our trucks to return without the shipments.
This May Cause You An Additional Charge…
Due to these challenges, if your shipments are being transported via Vietjet or Malindo Airlines, you may experience delays in delivery. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and are doing everything within our power to mitigate these issues.
Additionally, we wish to inform you that any additional charges incurred due to our trucks returning without the shipments, as a result of the airlines’ staffing shortages and other issues, will be billed back to you. This measure is necessary to manage the costs associated with these unexpected delays.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through these challenges. Our priority remains to ensure your shipments are delivered as promptly as possible, and we are actively seeking solutions to minimize any disruptions.
