URGENT – New Identification System For Marking Courier Bags
URGENT – MUST ACTION TODAY
Dear All,
We noticed many of you are not marking bags correctly as per the new customs system and this is causing many shipments to be injected to wrong carriers from customs depot which is causing significant delays.
Please make sure your operations team are following the below procedure 100% from today to avoid lost shipments.
Each bag should contain shipments assigned to only one courier company.
What is the new procedure to mark Courier Bags?
The new formula is one Carrier per bag.
This means Couriers Please bags should not contain any Australia Post or Aramex shipments.
This will ensure that shipments are correctly assigned to their respective courier companies, Aramex, Australia Post, or Couriers Please.
All Couriers Please Bags, kindly write COU over the bag.
All Aramex Bags, kindly write ARA over the bag.
All Australia Post Bags, kindly write AUS over the bag.
All New Zealand Bags, kindly write NZL over the bag.
DO NOT MIX BAGS WITH DIFFERENT CARRIERS, ONLY 1 CARRIER PER BAG – (ALSO NO BAGS OVER 25KG WILL BE ACCEPTED BY CUSTOMS DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS)
You can do this by affixing a sticker or using a permanent marker to write the Carrier’s code CLEARLY on the bag so it cannot be removed.
